Join up as a member of Friends of Granton Castle Walled Garden and add your ideas and energy! Help us restore the oldest Walled Garden in Edinburgh & celebrate its history and cultural significance, a living link with our past.

    Thankyou to the people who braved the storm warnings and came along to the meeting with enthusiasm and inspiring ideas.
    Last meeting minutes approved and posted – should be news in the next couple of weeks about the garden’s future.
    Hopefully permission to develop the oldest walled garden in Edinburgh for 17 luxury townhouses will be stopped.
    Thankyou Malcolm Chisholm, Lesley Hinds, ‘Edible Edinburgh’ and all the other individuals and organisations who have shown support for this community campaign.

    We still need your support though and if you would like to make it official please print off and fill in the Membership form, it has a section for those who don’t want to be directly involved, but still want to show their support for the group’s aims.

    We need you, lots of Davids can persuade Goliath!
